Proto Idiot has returned! No longer the naive boys you once knew, now they are full grown humans with a full grown album: Find Out For Themselves. Combining garage, punk, art and ideas, this is music for sophisticated eccentrics who enjoy the finer things in life – the sort of record that a mad and inbred member of the monarchy would relish. Find Out For Themselves includes oddball hits such as ‘I Like To Think’, angular anthems like ‘Nothing To It’ and the pure pop of ‘Find Out For Ourselves’. Imagine if Thin Lizzy did a Wire covers set – with Nick Lowe on bass – and you’re somewhere close.

Proto Idiot has toured the US and Europe, playing festivals like Le Guess Who? and Gonerfest along the way. Previous LPs include Leisure Opportunity (Slovenly, 2017) and For Dummies (Bad Paintings, 2016). They are on tour in the UK and Europe this July.

Find Out For Themselves is released on 10 July in the year of our Lord 2019.
